Justin was exposed to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and aikido by his father through contacts he held within the law enforcement community. When Justin was about 16 he had the opportunity to roll with Professor Shane Pitts. Justin was floored that someone could get physically destroyed by a skilled martial artist. He immediately fell in love with this form of fighting.
Justin is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black belt Under Robert Drysdale. He has been training for over 11 years and teaching for 8 years. His teaching style is very detailed with a focus on understanding how the body works so one can exploit those physical weaknesses during a fight. Justin encourages his students to explore not only the execution of a specific technique, but how/why the techniques work.
