About Our Self-Defense Jiu Jitsu

Adult Self Defense Jiu Jitsu is our beginner program for adults. This program was developed to learn the core techniques of Self-Defense Jiu-Jitsu in a fun, safe, and cooperative environment. Each lesson addresses at least one standing and two ground self-defense techniques. You can start the program at any time and participate in any class without previous experience. Once your receive your 2nd stripe you will be qualified for advancement to the Advanced Jiu Jitsu program. Upon completing the basic program you will have an opportunity to test for Blue Belt Blue.

Basic Self-Defense Course

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu consists of 1000’s techniques and styles that is ever growing.  We have taken our program to the next level pushing our students to be more well rounded. With Jiu jitsu becoming more and more prevalent in society we needed to step it up our program. We have developed our Basic self defense Jiu Jitsu course based on our experiences not only on the street but in true combat. Our instructors come from various background, college level athletes, wrestlers, Judo practitioners, MMA fighter, LE and former military. We have taken all that experience and put it to work for you as the student. We want to make sure you are safe in as many situations as possible. Our instructors conduct all classes in a cooperative training environment. Leave your ego at the door.

Self-Defense Course Breakdown

We have divided the basic Street Self-Defense Jiu Jitsu into 40 one-hour classes so that you can complete the course at your own pace. We designed each lesson so that you can start at any point in the course. As a result, you will never feeling lost or overwhelmed.

Develop Your Skills

Once you complete each of the Street Self-Defense Jiu Jitsu lessons twice, and display control to the instructors and partners you will qualify to participate in the Randori free-style practice Classes where you will learn how to combine the techniques to address the most common occurrences in a real situation. This will also open the door to the Advanced Jiu Jitsu program.

Earn your Blue Belt and Beyond

Once you attended each of the Street Self-defense Jiu jitsu lessons three times, and have completed at least 12 randori development classes, you are eligible to test for promotion to Blue Belt. We are constantly testing you individually and in combination with the other students. We are looking for control, efficiency and the effective use of the techniques under stress. If your performance meets our standards, you will qualify to test for a promotion. But Remember, the Basics are the key to your success.
